Shabu Shabu that doesn't break your bank in SHIBUYA

Many of my friends who have visited Japan tell me that it's hard to find places to eat lots of vegetables. Ramen, Tonkatsu, gyudon, Sushi... Yeah, it's so true.

Shabu shabu is well-balanced meal for eating out. So, in this video/blog, I'd like to introduce you guys Nabezo, an all-you-can-eat shabu shabu restaurant that I go to.

HOW WAS IT?

Nabezo - There are 2 Nabezo in Shibuya, and we went to this one in the Center Street which is a bigger and newer than the other.

There are so many shabu shabu places in Shibuya but I like this one the best because of its variation of vegetables and sauce, cleanliness, service, and the location. Nabezo is a casual restaurant that is English speaker friendly. It has a English menu and everything is labeled in English so you don't have to sweat when you order.

It's buffet style except meat. Buffet has a variety selection of fresh greens, mushrooms, tofu to put in the shabu shabu pot. You can also get noodles and rice to put it in the soup at the end of the meal.

And this dipping sauce/spice section is my favorite. You can create your own sauce. I like to make mine with a mix of ginger, garlic spicy oil, sesame and the sesame sauce you can find on the each table.

What kind of meat you get depends on the courses. The basic Nabezo Course come with beef, chicken and pork. And yes, meat is all you can eat too! To be honest, beef is the best quality out of all. (Chicken is usually my favorite but here it's beef.) It's so juicy and moist.

If you order sukiyaki soup as your choice, you get a raw egg as a dipping for your meat. God, it's divine. They actually have many different soup to choose from.

HOW TO GET THERE

1. Get off Shibuya Station JR line and get out at Hachiko exit. Go across 'Shibuya Crossing' and go towards to the street on the left side of TSUTAYA which is in front of the crossing. Go straight until you hit the end with Outback Stakehouse, then turn right. It's inside of Yoshimoto Hall building which is on the right corner.

2. Get off Shibuya Station subway and get out at 6-1 or 6-2 exit. Go into the street that is left of TSUTAYA. Go straight until you hit the end with Outback Stakehouse, then turn right. It's inside of Yoshimoto Hall building which is on the right corner.
