Miyashita Park is the newest spot in the video. The best part is that it has everything from shops, restaurants and a park on the roof top. The place is right between Harajuku and Shibuya and was renovated and reopened last July. The rooftop has a skate park, bouldering space, multi-purpose space and many benches and tables to sit. There is also a hotel, Sequence, which is convenient for travelers.

On the South on the 2nd floor, there is a shopping mall called Rayard and also has a food court.

There is a Kitkat Chocolatory on the South 2nd floor, where you can customize your own Kitkat. There are limited seats available, so make sure that you make your reservations beforehand.

In the north area, there are many high-brand shops. The Louis Vuitton men’s store here is the world’s first men's flagship store.

On the 1st floor of the South Area, there is a road with restaurants, “Shibuya Yokocho.” These restaurants are drinking restaurants, also known as “Izakayas” open for 24 hours. There are a variety of restaurants specializing in seafood, all the way to areas such as Kyushu.

Shibuya Fukuras is a mellow chill spot and geared more for people in the 40s. The word “fukuramasu” means to expand and their idea is to expand happiness. Fukuras is located at the Tokyu Bus Terminal side of Shibuya and there is a bus stop inside the building on the first floor.

Ce la vi, which on the 17th and 18th floor is a perfect lunch and dinner spot. You can eat food along with a breathtaking view. The 17th floor is more casual while the 18th floor is more formal.  At night, it turns into a club where you can have fun with your friends.

Shibuya Scramble Square is a perfect spot to go if you want to check out shops, restaurants and get a 360 view of the city from Shibuya. Shibuya Sky is the best spot to get the view of Tokyo, 230m high. The best time to go is right before sunset. You can see Shibuya in daylight and night time, with lights from the buildings.

If you also want a drink, there is also a bar at the top to drink with your friends.

In the same building on the B2 floor, there are lots of food that you can order to go or eat inside in the building. There is also a vegan shop as well to fulfill everyone’s needs. So, this is a perfect spot for everyone to go because it’s so inclusive!

Shibuya Stream has 30 spots and restaurants. It has a very different vibe to Shibuya and it is very quiet. The offices are located on the upper floors. One thing to note is that it does get a bit busy during the lunch hours because many people who work at these offices get their lunch.

One of my personal favorite lunch spot is Donabeyaki Gohan Nakayoshi. They have amazing crisp fried chicken with set meals. The restaurant is originally from Ebisu and has been open for 35 years!

There is also a lemonade spot at Lemonade by Lemonica where you can get some refreshing drinks. Right next to the shop, there is also a cute photo spot.

Excel Hotel Tokyu is right next to Shibuya Stream. If you are trying to find a place to stay mainly for convenience, this is a perfect place to stay because it is directly connected to the station. The interior is very nice so if it is raining outside, it is definitely a place to go.

After Shibuya station was renovated, the underground is connected to all of the new buildings, which makes it easy for access.

If you want to take a snack break, Puffz (underground) is a perfect place to go. It is located near exit B7.  We got Choux Pastry stuffed with fresh whipped cream. The outer is a crispy sugary shell and the cream inside is thick.

Shibuya Parco does not have a target age group but rather focuses on new and unique spots. There are not only shops and good food but a spot to go if you are interested in entertainment and arts.

Screenshot (348).png

Their theme was Shotengai or shopping streets. Therefore, there are a variety of shops from high-end shops to cosmetic shops and souvenirs.

B1 Floor

On the B1 floor there are many restaurants and it's not exclusive for Japanese locals but also for foreigners. As you walk around, you can see many restaurants offering English Menus.

One of my favorite spots is Kiwamiya, which is a hamburger specialty shop from Fukuoka. The chef only cooks until the surface of the meat. The customers are able to customize the hamburger and cook on the Teppan by themselves to their desired doneness of the meat.

6th Floor

Screenshot (359).png
Screenshot (364).png

On the 6th floor, you can find many character shops from Pokemon all the way to Nintendo Shop in Tokyo. There are not only Pokemon stuffed animals but also Pokemon blings. There are goods that are exclusive in the Nintendo shop as well. You can also check out the Jump store if you like Mangas.

On the roof top, you can also get a drink at ConMune cafe and bar to get a rest from all of the walking and shopping.
