BORACAY was the PARADISE - Hotel COAST

BEFORE CHECK-IN

COAST offers a COMPLIMENTARY PICK-UP from the airport. It was our first time in Boracay but thanks to the staff, we could relax and not worry about anything.

From Caticlan Airport, they pick you up on a van to go to the port. 10-15 minutes boat ride from the airport, you get on the van again for another 10-15 minutes.

Since the hotel is right next to the beach, you need to get off a van before hand and walk. Are you worried about your luggage? Don't worry. Powerful COAST staff will be with you until you get to the hotel.

The top highlight of this hotel is its GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Everyone is very FRIENDLY and WARM. They made us feel so welcomed. I felt like home and I just started to SMILE for no reason!

ROOM

We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor with a King bed - VERY BREEZY, OPEN and LIGHT-COLORED design. We loved, loved, and loved it.

The bed was super comfortable. If you had this bed at home, it will ruin your life because it just FEELS TOO GOOD to get up!! (I still wish I had the same bed at home though.)

Right when you walk in, you'll notice that they left CUTE GIFTS everywhere in a room - sprays and cool beach bags, a bottle of wine with a cheese platter and fruits basket. It just made me smile! To be honest, I never use complimentary gifts from hotels but I am actually using the bag and spray at home because the design is super cute!

As you can see in the picture, the bathroom was super clean. I also loved how they had a ladder to hang wet swimming suits.

RESTAURANTS

We loved the variation on their menu. They've got EVERYTHING that you can think of - from colorful salads to traditional filipino cuisines.

For lunch, we both had this seafood bowl. ( I think it was poke bowl but not sure.) Very fresh and we liked it.

BAR

They have an open bar next to the restaurant which extends to the beach. When we were there, they had HAPPY HOUR at the bar so we enjoyed our frozen margarita on the beach.

POOL

They have 2 swimming pools in the center of the hotel. Plenty of rooms to play around!

ROOM SERVICE/house keeping

Another thing I loved about COAST is that they offers 24/7 HOUSE KEEPING service. While we were in a room relaxing, house keeping staff stopped by several times to see if we wanted the room to be cleaned. On top of that, they gave us water bottles and Oreo brownies! What more can I ask for?

BREAKFAST

Rooms come with COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST. It was not a giant buffet but just right amount and variety. BEAUTIFUL PRESENTATION of dainty give an edge to the appetite.

Also, I was happy that they had FRESH VEGGIES. We had been in the Philippines for 2 weeks when we were there and we had a hard time finding fresh veggies at a restaurants. It was our life saver!

I hear that Filipino loves SAUCES and DIPS. I bet this buffet will satisfy any filipino foodies because it's got LOTS of different kind of sauces!
