10 Cool Japanese Souvenirs to Get FOR WOMAN

Here are the list souvenirs I'd love to receive from Japan. Also I gave them to my girl friends in the states and they loved it!

1. DEGISN FACE PACK

2. UMESHU (plum wine)

Girls love fruity stuff! Japanese plum wine is really good and I personally love it too. If your girl doesn't like her booze too sweet, add tonic and big chunk of ice. For wiskey lovers, there are Yamazaki plum wine definitelly is a catch. 


3. UNIQULO

No doubt, you can buy Uniqlo a lot cheaper in Japan. I recommend getting Heattech for people from warm weather and AIRLIST for cold weather. I personally love Heattech because it gets super cold in Japan and it keeps me extremely warm like I'm wearing heat packs all over my body.

You can easily buy it in your country too, but it wouldn't be as cheap as in Japan.

4. COOKING BOOKS

You can find authentic Japanese home cooking books in English! If your gal is into cooking or food, this is a great choice. 


5. KIMONO WINE BOTTLE COVER 

This cool wine bottle covers got many deign prize and looks great for many different occasions. I brought this for wedding dinner for a gift (of course with a bottle of wine in it), and people loved it.

This is one thing you CANNOT buy other than Japan. Prices are between roughly 24USD to 60USD depending on designs. 


6. CASE 2776 FUJISAN TISSUE CASE

Isn't this just cool and fun? When I don't know what the person likes, I just get this fun tissue case. It's about 15 USD.


7. KIT KAT IN DIFFERENT FLAVORS

Who hates Kit Kat? It seems like a real basic souvenir for a long time but new flavors keeps coming out.  


6. SENDAI CHOCO

Sendai Choco is only sold at Palace Hotel Tokyo. It's chocolate plate looks just like Japanese paper (washi). Of course it taste good. Who doesn't like beautiful paper that taste delicious.

7. NAMED CHOPSTICK

When you visit Asakusa, you can find chopstick stores in Nakamise which is by Senso-ji. The one I go to is MORITA. It takes time to finish writing names so be sure to go there in the early time of the day or you might have to come back on the next day.

8. YOJI-YA FACIAL OIL BLOTTING PAPER

Yojiya is a brand from Kyoto that all of Japanese ladies know. You can buy it at the airport theses days, so it's a good last minute buy.


9.  JAPANESE MAGAZINES

Even thought she can't read Japanese, pictures will entertain her just fine. For edgy street fashion, get NYLON or VIVI. For girlie gals, SWEET, GIRL, or CAMCAN. For lady-like grownups, GISELE, GINGER, BAILA or GINZA are the best choice. 

You don't have to go to book stores to get it because any convenience stores sells.


10. HELLO KITTY STUFF

I hate hello kitty stuff because that's all I got for gift when I was kid but I'm adding this in the list because all of my girlfriends love it. 

You can simply go to any Saneio stores and find Japan only goods. There are several cool Hello Kitty stuff for grown-ups like these cameras, bangles and aprons so.. I guess it's not that bad.
